Arrival is from 5.00pm to 8.30pm. (Sorry we do not open prior to 5pm) On your day of departure apartments need to be vacated before 10.00am.

Arrival and departure times

For the comfort of other guests, arrival is not permitted after 8.30 pm and guests should make their own arrangements to ensure that they arrive between the hours of 5pm and  8.30 pm on the day of arrival. Guests who arrive after 8.30pm or who do not arrive in the period 5pm to 8.30 pm on the due date of arrival will  be denied access to the reserved suite.  This is to ensure comfort and an undisturbed evening for our registered guests. Heywood Hall considers failure to arrive and register in the correct period as breach of contract and will pursue any sum outstanding in full for all nights reserved regardless of late or nonappearance by a guest(s).

Groups and Parties
Heywood Hall is the family home of Louise and John McCann and their two sons. We wish to create a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere for the families and couples who visit us as their guests. Those seeking a party atmosphere would be disappointed at Heywood Hall. We ask all our guests to retire to their suites after 10pm. We also ask that guests keep to their own suites and please do not invite other guests to their suite during their stay with us. This helps ensure that all our guests have an undisturbed night.   To this end we do not cater for , nor will accept bookings from, parties or indeed any form of group. Multiple separate bookings made to circumvent this condition will be treated as a group or party booking and will be treated as an express contract failure. All such guests will be required to leave immediately , whether booked in or not. Payment in full will be required and no refund will be issued. This determination is at the total discretion of the management of Heywood Hall.

Visitors
In order to ensure the personal safety and security of all our guests and for insurance purposes, visitors are not permitted within the grounds of Heywood Hall. Should guests have other friends staying at another establishment nearby, please make arrangements to meet elsewhere. Similarly, only guests' cars are permitted in the driveway.

Smoking
For the further comfort and safety of our guests , Heywood Hall has adopted a no smoking policy. For the avoidance of doubt, therefore, smoking is not permitted within any part of the premises. This includes the outside gardens, rear garden, sauna/hot tub area, paths and driveway. A single sheltered area is provided to the rear of the house for smoking and is the only location where smoking is permitted.   All bedrooms are non-smoking. Any suites tainted by residual tobacco odours will be specially cleaned and aired over a 24-hour period and all costs resulting from this, both actual and loss of business( at prevailing rates ) will be charged to the credit / debit card given to secure the booking. By entering into this contract you are authorising us to make the above charges to your card without additional consent being required.

Wedding Parties
We regret that we cannot take bookings from guests attending local weddings. Part of the attraction of staying at Heywood Hall is that it is essentially a private home-from-home for couples and families alike. Wedding guests arriving back in the small hours of the morning are not compatible with regular guests who value a peaceful nights sleep.

Damage
We reserve the right to charge for the replacement, cleaning or repair of any items belonging to  Heywood Hall, damaged by guests or as a result of guest(s) action(s) or inaction. In this event your credit card will be charged against reasonable costs incurred by us.
